Sweden have always been at the top of the world when it comes to both the creation of chart-topping hits and the number of music producers of world class. There are three European music cities that stand out like the relaxed Dublin, bohemian Paris and classical Vienna.
Here people live folk music, classical, opera, jazz and concerts by international artists. Why not combine a concert by your favorite artist and a visit to a concert hall to listen to the local tunes? In Paris in March, you can for example combine Madonna with lovely jazz. French jazz has been very diverse throughout the ages, from the Romany jazz to musette-style accordion, fiddle and folk dancing. Bargain old vinyl records and dream yourself back to the ancient Paris.
Ireland's capital, both live and breathe music. Follow the cobbled streets of Temple Bar area of central Dublin pubs and live music in true Irish spirit. How about experiencing St. Patrick's Day here. The enchanting Vienna Opera is legendary. Some of the world's best composers (Mozart, Beethoven and Brahms) lived here in the 1700s and 1800s. Today, Vienna is heaven for classical music, with around 15000 concerts per year.
1. Gottwood, United Kingdom
What differentiates Gottwood from other electronic music festivals is that it doesn't follow any main trend or fashion and doesn't try to offer the most extravagant line-ups in order to attract the most people. The organizers are more concerned with the creation of a special environment that is maintained in each edition.
Gottwood takes place in the Anglesey forest and the line-up is specifically chosen so that each edition is different. The musical offer crosses the different limits of electronic music, with a mix of old school garage, smart techno, House and drum & bass.
Some of the outstanding artists who had performed here are Brawther, Hunee, Leon Vynehall, Marcellus Pittman, Motor City Drum Ensemble, Move D, Om Unit, PBR Streetgang/Point G, Radioactive Man or Seven Davis Jr (Live) among many others.

2. Fusion, Germany
We are facing one of the most loved and expected electronic music festivals that takes place in an old military airport called Müritz Airpark in Lärz, between Hamburg and Berlin, northeast of Germany. The Fusion is a festival that combines music, theater, cinema and art all in one.
Just by saying that every year there are so many people who want to go, that the tickets have to be raffled, so only the lucky ones have the opportunity to participate and each entry comes with the assigned name. Those who have attended say that the installations of the Fusion are something never seen, every day of the festival there are performances and shows on stages that seem to be taken from worlds parallel to the real thing.
Some claim that the Fusion one of the best summer festivals in Europe, an amusement park and dreams that only happens for a few days a year. Musically speaking the fusion combines all possible music styles with a certain tendency towards electronic music but without forgetting the other genres.
In the earlier editions, some of the most prominent artists who had performed here are Don Williams, Edward, Oskar Offermann, Flexxi, Luna City Express, Second hand cowboy, Triad or Victor Ruiz. The poster remains completely secret until almost the start dates of the festival.

3. HORST, Belgium
Horst is an art and music festival composed of a diverse and broad spectrum of electronic musicians, visual artists and creative young people. It takes place in the impressive Van Horst castle. HORST debuted with a 100% success result, as all tickets were sold.
It brings a well-selected line-up of 40 national and international artists and you can enjoy more art, more music and more people without compromising the festival's sensation and identity. The festival says it is more focused on offering quality than quantity, and that is reflected in the artistic proposal.
Some earlier artists who had performed here are Floating Points, Joy Orbison, boddika; Leon Vynehall, Detroit Swindle, Flako, Cid Rim or Dark Sky.

Price: About 35 euros. It is better to be cautious and buy it on time.
Accommodation: The festival provides a campsite for attendees who wish to stay overnight. You can also take the bus to the center of Leuven, and find hostels or hotels there.
4. PITCH, the Netherlands
This festival takes place in the Westergasfabriek, the center of Amsterdam. It is without a doubt an enviable location for an electronic music festival in the middle of summer and in one of the most attractive and liberal cities of all Europe.
Some of the artists that have already performed here are James Blake, James Holden, Herbert, Simian Mobile Disco, Lido, Siriusmodeselektor, Jon Hopkins, Dekmantel Soundsystem or Spanish and so fashionable John Talabot.

Price: 80 euros for access to both days of the festival. Advance sale begin in February.
Accommodation: The festival does not have its own accommodation site, but being in the center of Amsterdam there are plenty of hostels and hotels with different types of prices and services.
5. Aquasella, Spain
The Aquasella takes place in the Principality of Asturias, in the town of Arriondas, in northern Spain. The aquasella has been held since 1997. The festival has grown a lot in all these years. This is due to the great national and international artists that perform there every year and also because of the festive atmosphere that there is generated, an environment that without the heated assistants from all over Spain, would not be possible.
The party begins a day before and ends a day later or two, you never know because many of the attendees continue the party in the vicinity of the festival until the body endures. Previous editions have registered as many as 30,000 attendees and the artists that have already performed here are Richie Hawtin, Carl Cox, Surgeon or Ben Sims.
Some of the other artists who have gone through the festival are Sven Väth, Oscar Mulero, Vitalic, 2ManyDjs or Nina Kraviz plus local heroes who play a great role in each edition of Aquasella. Most of the performances focus on a musical day of almost 24 hours non-stop, very Asturian style.

Accommodation: The festival has a camping area with all possible needs covered. The camping area of the aquasella might seem like a prolongation of the musical zone, because many continue the spree between the tents but surprisingly some attendees claim to have been able to sleep a few hours in the meantime.
6. Kappa Future Festival, Italy
The Kappa Future Festival is an event that is an excellent cultural meeting, since it not only consists exclusively of something musical, but unlike other electronic music festivals it also promotes employment, the city itself Turin and tourism.
The Kappa Future lasts two days outdoors, giving space to electronic sounds in an exceptional location that evokes the industrial past of Turin and shows a possible future that has no borders. Kappa Future Festival takes place in the heart of Parco Dora, an incredible post-industrial and renovated green space in the center of Turin that occupies 89,000 square meters.
The location is dominated by the impressive structure of the Strippaggio store that perfectly exemplifies the urban and contemporary soul of the festival. With regard to music, the proposal is quite serious, with some of the names that are part of the most avant-garde techno scene and also some of the main ambassadors of the warmest House sound.

7. Worldwide Festival, France
Worldwide Festival is a festival of quality electronic music that takes place in the port of the beautiful city of Sète, in the south of France and very close to Marseille, and is organized since 2006 by Gilles Peterson, the famous music lover, disc jockey and founder of labels such as Acid Jazz Records. The festival takes place in different parts of the city, with day events and concerts on the beach.
The great performances take place in the lighthouse of the port and in an open-air theater built on a cliff facing the sea. Of all the festivals there may be, without a doubt this has one of the best locations and musically it is also one of the best, where some of the best artists considered as the crème de la crème come together and reaffirm the electronic character.
The soul of the festival are mainly disc-jockeys, Live acts and bands that range from House, Techno or Ambient to Jazz or Funk. Some names who has performed here are Laurent Garnier, Dj Harvey, Gilles Peterson, James Blake, Seven Davis JR, LTJ Bukem.

Accommodation: It is advisable to book the accommodation in advance as the Worldwide Festival can bring a lot of people to Sète which is a summer resort and not only attracts the festivaleros, so it is advisable to get pre-booked and start booking camping hotel in advance to Avoid last minute surprises.
8. Urban Art Forms Festival, Austria
The Urban Art Forms Festival takes place under the motto "Back to where your heart beats." The festival with 10 years of experience, is not only exclusive in the choice of its artists and performances, but also for its location in a valley that is completely guarded by a forest, trees and a lake.
The Urban Art Forms has perfectly equipped facilities that are up to the caliber of the artists who perform there, not only this year but in all editions to the delight of all attendees, even for the most demanding. Some of the artists who has performed here are Sven Väth, Die Antwoord, Camo & Krooked, Netsky or nothing more and nothing less than Bonobo, in previous editions names such as Jeff Mills, Kraftwerk, Vitalic have passed through the festival.

Accommodation: The festival offers a camping area for attendees who wish to camp during the 3 days of the Urban. Without a doubt, the option of free camping is the most interesting since, as in the aquasella in the camping area, a festive atmosphere worthy of experiencing is generated.
9. Plötzlich am meer, Poland
The festival takes place in Rogowo, in a totally wild environment, wiese, bald, strand and meer, thus announcing the festival, which in German means between meadow, forest, sand and sea. The festival is celebrated on Polish soil but very close to the border with Germany. The Plötzlich am meer takes place in the month of August on the banks of the Baltic Sea on one side and on the other the lake Przymorskie.
It is a young festival but in few editions it has left a great memory in each edition and is a must for hundreds of dance music lovers who come from all over Poland and from northern Germany, especially from Berlin, from Where are the organizers? The line-up and the diversity of styles that one one can find in Plötzlich am meer is to take off his hat since in the 2014 edition they had more than 130 artists.

Accommodation: One of the biggest attractions of Plötzlich am meer is the possibility of camping on the beach in front of the Baltic Sea. The festival makes available to all attendees all kinds of food stalls and of course drinks.
10. Sonus, Croatia
The Sonus offers three different musical spaces, the Aquarius club, the Kalypso and the main stage or Papaya club.
No doubt this electronic music festival has a strongly hedonistic point, much more than any other festival on the list, Sonus offers sun, boat parties, a paradise and music, lots of music. The line-up each year is made up of world-famous artists and some not so well known but equally or even more interesting and that navigate between the thin line that goes from Techno to House.
